
ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology
Prerequisites: ITEC Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology

This ITEC Diploma in Reflexology meets national occupational standards and is now recognised by the Association Of Reflexologists (AoR), EMBODY, Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNCH)
We are an AoR (Association of Reflexologists) Gateway School, this means that you can join the AoR as a student member (at a lower fee) and enjoy the benefits that full members
enjoy. The AoR is second to none in terms of support and is a forerunner in the promotion of professional reflexology and research. You will be invited to join the AoR forums
and have access to their full support throughout your studies. You will also have free insurance for the duration of your studies as well as access to professional courses.

Upon completion, you will be a professional reflexologist and will be able to gain insurance to practice upon the general public and professional memberships.
You will be required to complete a number of case studies, which means that your friends and family will be able to experience and benefit from this relaxing therapy whilst you train.
This course also includes the Award in Business Practice, Principles & Practice in Complementary Therapies and the optional self-study unit Healthy Eating and Wellbeing for the Complementary Therapy Client.
By the end of the course, you will:
- Provide a professional reflexology to a client
- Conduct a professional consultation
- Devise a treatment programme
- Understand contraindications
- Be able to adapt a treatment for a range of conditions and outcomes
- Reading of the feet
- Recognise common disorders of the feet
- Provide aftercare advice
- Conduct a short hand reflexology treatment

- Fertility Issues
- Hormonal problems
- Poor sleep
- Stress, depression and anxiety
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to practice in a number of different settings:
- In your own private practice, as a self-employed practitioner
- In a salon, health club, spa or hotel
- In the NHS, hospice or other healthcare setting
- You will be able to join professional organisations such as the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), Association of Reflexologists (AoR), Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) and the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) as a full member.
